Achieving results through a team whilst maintaining personal

Decisions by introducing you to a practical, proven decision making
methodology

The leap to management is a significant one. Everything changes.
Your technical competence and ability to do your job are now no
longer the only important factors. You are now responsible and
accountable for a team of people that, under your guidance, are
expected to excel, and achieve their individual and organisation
targets. This is an enormous responsibility - especially given that
you have, up until now, been completely individually focussed.
New managers often feel they have been thrown in the deep end!
The number of new responsibilities coupled with the daunting task
of managing a team of people effectively often leaves the new
manager feeling bewildered and unfocussed. It is this transitional
phase that is so crucial to get right. You need to start as you
mean to continue. Gaining the respect and buy-in from your new team
is essential from the very beginning of your new assignment.
In order to be truly effective, you need to discover how to
manage this transitional phase, and discover where you fit in and
how you can meet the new expectations placed on you. This
comprehensive 3 day training course will provide you with a solid
grounding that will stand you in good stead for the remainder of
your management career. Complex and difficult management principles
are clearly and simply explained, leaving you ready to implement
them in your department.
